Have used my week of sick leave to get caught up on some shows:

White Collar Season 3 - Dug the second half more than the first though I wasn't so keen on the cliffhanger. It's not that it was bad in itself, just that I'm so sick of the spoiler, I guess? ) Sorry, but I more or less prefer the fluff here.

The Secret Circle Eh, a storyline seems to be emerging from somewhere and the last ep had an - I think unintentionally - funny twist at the end but the main character is a textbook Sue. And the weakest actor out of all the cast. Concentrate more on the circle itself, if you ask me. Build on the Faye/Diana/Melissa friendship and even Jake and Adam - the epitome of wishy-washyness - are certainly better when they're not focused on Cassie.

Grimm Sure, it's still goofy and I'm never sure if I want to laugh or cry at the German "Wesen" names but the main lead has grown more into his role and it is at least a somewhat novel approach to the "Chosen One" story, i.e. he stays more or less just a cop and hasn't picked up any sacred duty mantle or something. And Monroe will never not be cute.

The River Yeah, that. Thankfully only one more ep to go. The mother is certainly a thouroughly unsympathetic character and yet in each new episode she finds a new low to sink to. spoilers, again )

I have also started Person of Interest which is reasonably entertaining so far. I kinda like Reese calmly walking into these rooms full of armed, dangerous guys and then walking out on a bunch of totally beat up dudes. They do a nice job of establishing as a badass without too much overly fancy stuntwork or bullet time or whathaveyou. I also have to giggle over his tendency to topple bad guys over with their cars.
