The prequel conundrum...

You know, I really liked X-Men: First Class but it did that thing that nearly always happens when you clearly, clearly have not set the entire story up beforehand. In which case doing prequels later wouldn't pose a big problem.

Because once again, they took one of my most beloved storytelling tropes and retroactively botched it. ( Spoiler )
