Jan. 24th, 2010 07:03 pmFinally saw Sherlock Holmes
Was not quite what I expected. The characters were charming and fun - LOVE the Holmes and Watson dynamic - and I dug the steam-punk atmosphere but the thing could have used a tighter story. Also, I have the hardest time understanding RDJ when he speaks really fast. Love the guy but he should come with his own subtitles. :)
Still have not seen Avatar. And not sure if I want to. I heard it's like "Dances with Wolves" in space and I was so, so, soooo incredibly bored during DWW. Maybe the effects will carry me through one sitting but with films that long, I honestly need more than that. So, I ask you flist, is it worth it?
