Not again

Groan. So apparently my modem isn`t installed properly. I removed the drivers, then re-installed - still not working. Did ti again - nope. Again - nope. Which strike one. Also I use ISDN on my notebook via some USB stick-thingie - which is broken or at least my notebook refuses to recognize it. Strike two.

Meaning I`m currently unable to go online with my notebook. Thus it`s back to my stone age computer with the snail-speed. And yippie, the internet software I have installed on it won`t work after Jan 31th. Super. I tried installing newer one but that won`t work either. Well, I could probably clear that with T-com since it SHOULD work.

On the upswing, DSL is now available with me and ordered - hopefully to arrive and WORK very, very soon. Also someone is letting go of their old computer and wants to give it to me to replace MY old computer. The new old one is about 3-4 years, my old is about 14 years so HALLELUJAH.

So wish me luck but I imagine the next few days I won`t be online as much since it`s just infuriating to wait 3 minutes for one page to load. No worries however I can still post fic, it takes longer but it`s possible. *g*
