Hey, why didn`t anybody tell me I could set my browser so as to not display images anymore? This more than quadruples loading speed for web-pages. Sure, they look like shit now but it`s FAST. :-p

I have called up the computer hotline today and seeing as I already had tried all the advice to fix it, ir is now signed up for repair. Thanks heavens for pick-up and return service because my Mom is on vacation for three weeks and willl not be in the city to take it to the shop herself.

Hopefully it won`t take a) three months again like with my former laptop *is dead even at the idea* and b) I won`t lose data. Seeing as the problem suddenly occured and now I can`t get the damn thing to start up I can hardly DO a back-up. Grumpf.
