I`m pretty sure there are a good many who will read a fic because they see it`s written by you.

Maybe some few, but I don't think that really qualifies as the benefit of the name :)

It`s nice not to have to beg and plead everytime for beta-ing. For longer fic a beta is needed anyhow.

Exactly. My "serious" stuff always gets a beta but these are "only" flashfics, spur of the moment thingies, so if I read them over once or twice I just cross my fingers and hope it's enough :-) Still feels weird, though, like I'm some kind of impostor :)
