Okay, so maybe I was wrong. Maybe Jensen wasn't just an angry asshole because of what life threw at him, maybe the 'asshole' was a way of protecting himself from losing people he thought he'd lose in time anyway. People he cared for as friends, and more, who might become impatient with the man who can't do all that he was once able to. So Jensen was scared - but at least he's not going to let the fear stop him from having a life now.
A truly satisying story. I have a thing for vulnerable, wounded Jensen - and blind!Jensen certainly presses those buttons.
