Sometimes I like reading that but it`s too dark for my writing and for this story in particular, I just didn`t want to mess poor Jen up so much and then do a miracle-heal in the last chapter.
Glad you liked Jaret`s reaction and Jen`s strength. Because he has the typical "female" role in this story I nevertheless want him to come across as a man and strong in his own right.
