Hi, I stumbled across your journal through your fic. I wanted to let you know that - at least on the US versions of the DVDs - you can still access the "previouslies".
Go to the "episodes" menu of the DVD. At the bottom of the episode list it says Recap: on/off Turning this "on" will restore the "then" part of the episode.
