I'm wondering, what's the point of paying for the DVDs if you get *less* than what originally aired? I can easily record the episodes to Tivo and them save them to DVD on my own. My first Tivo has a DVD burner as part of the unit, and then I have another one attached to the TV in my office.
I buy the DVDs because I want crystal-clear pictures, everything from original airings (and I'm surprised how many shows put the syndicated/edited versions on the DVDs now), and at least a few extras like commentaries and blooper reels and maybe some interviews with cast members or writers or even some behind-the-scenes stuff.
Ah well... I have not even once touched the season 2 DVDs since I bought them. I'd already seen the episodes and I'd seen the extras on YouTube already. *g* I actually regret buying them now.
