No, no, Chadan never was a slave and by my personal story-canon he was already in the horde when Jaret joined them and not too happy when the young upstart took over. :)
Jaret had known Stavus after he, Jaret that is, escaped from slavery, then they lost contact and then later Stavus - after believing Krisian was dead - joined the horde with a few of his own men from his army days and they all agreed Jaret was the leader. Now I nearly confused myself typing that up. *g*
no clue where Jen would take those kids if he gets them free though :/
