Stargate Atlantis Season 3 is odd: the really cool episodes are preceded by real stinkers - "Irresistible" before "Sateda" and last week we got this tired old trope in "The Real World" where I wasn`t sure we`d see ANY of the crew besides Weir since the half-hour mark was already over. At least other such episodes manage to integrate the other characters better. Weir only? Not exactly working.
And this week we get "Common Ground". Now THAT`s a trope I love. Two enemies having to work together to escape. And we learned something more about the Wraith. Of course as soon as Sheppard was fed on the second time and started looking old, I knew what would happen. But regardless it was a nice suspenseful little eppie.
