Season 2: It has some truly awesome moments, but almost no completely awesome episodes--few that I've ever watched more than once, no matter how much awesome angst was included.
I find there are quite a few eps in Season 2 that I love rewatching ImtoD, Wsaws, Nightshifter, BuabS and some I love rewatching parts of so on the whole I really liked Season 2. Only the Finale was rather disappointing for the deal.
when they have Dean acting like a pig or a complete jerk or as stupid or whatever else they've decided he is not.
I did like him in the last episode, was a lot more toned down from the hyper of before. To me it was a noticeable difference to Kripke and Gamble writing.
Also while the brothers didn`t have much angst between them, I liked their interaction in 3.03 as part-time friends and part-time big brother/little brother. I felt Sam reverted back to little kid and Dean was exasperated older sibling in return. It was a more understated chemistry but I felt it was there.
And there were some little touches with Dean herding again. Loving some Sheepdog!Dean. :)
